FRIDAY

Bible: We did a lesson in class today on Zephaniah, on of the last prophets we will cover in our studies this year. Memory work is due Monday: Jeremiah 23: 5-6.
Geography: We watched some neat short videos on Italy, but we did not have an out of class assignment. The sheet given yesterday will be collected on Monday.
Our prayer country is Mongolia, and our character trait is again Meekness.
Our seventh grade team is planning a European eating experience for the week after next. Mor info in my email.
PTL. This morning at 10:35 grandchild number 9 was born to may son and daughter-in-law. Lillian Kathleen entered the world at 9 lbs and 1 oz.

THURSDAY

Welcome back after our day off. It was cccooooold!!!
In Bible today we started Unit 6, JUDAH IS JUDGED. The material fro this point on will be included in the May exam. There was no out of class assignment.
In Geography, the section on Italy was assigned. This is pages 121-126, and a fill-in work sheet was also assigned for Friday.
Our prayer country is Syria, and out character trait is Meekness.

TUESDAY

Well we are back from bowling, and it looked like a good time was had by all. Our next class activity is our European eating experience which will include Dutch breakfast, French crepes, and Hungarian food. If kids sold chocolate letters and mints, they may have earned a free experience, otherwise it will be $2.00.
Bible: We took a test on Unit 5 this morning.
Geography: A map of Italy was assigned for tomorrow.
Our prayer country is really a part of China, TIBET.
Our character trait is GRATEFULNESS

MONDAY

Welcome back.
Bible: Today w spent our time working with flash cards as review for tomorrows quest. It will have only 14 matching and there will be 4 type I statements that the kids have to respond to. (they only have to do 2 of the 4)
Geography: The section on Sweden: The Welfare State was assigned. Questions 1,2,3 and then either 4 or 5 were assigned as written work.
Our character trait today is FAITH, and our prayer country is Senegal.
I have added grades to Infinite Campus in Bible and Geography today.

FRIDAY

BIBLE: Today we began our last lesson for Unit 5. A worksheet was given and I told them to spend 15 minutes on it and we will finish it next Monday. We will have a test on Tuesday covering the unit. It will be a fairly short one. Jeremiah memory work will be due Monday, February 4.
GEOGRAPHY: Our time today was spent on working on the poster/brochure of their chosen European country. I am starting to see some neat things put together.
PRAYER COUNTRY: Jordan

Report cards were sent home today.

THURSDAY

BIBLE: Today we did a lesson called "Finding the Book" about King Josiah rediscovering the lost books of the law. A worksheet was given out that should be finished by tomorrow. Test next Wednesday is the plan.
GEOGRAPHY: We looked at neat video about a couple of kids who play foetball in France and meet in an inter regional match. No work was given out.

WEDNESDAY

Bible: Today we worked on the lesson: Blended Religion. There was no written assignment. There will be a test next week, either Wednesday or Thursday which means the next memory work will be due next Friday.
Geography: The section on France was assigned, pages 104-111 along with a work sheet.
Our prayer country today is Eritrea, and our character trait is meekness.
