THURSDAY

All that is left is the serving, the skating and the shouting. It was a good day
here at ZCMS in the 7th grade.
In my shortened class today all we did was a Bible lesson on "For Unto Us a Child is Born". I wanted to get that one in before Christmas for obvious reasons. II Corinthians 5:17-21 was due today, but I will gladly take it tomorrow before all the activity begins. Our next memory
is from Romans 3:23 and 6:23 which will be due on Friday, January 11. All the kids need for tomorrow is some cold cash for a lunch where ever their group is going, and for snacks if they want to buy goodies at the skating rink.
Well, this is it until next year. Have a wonderful break.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

Today all we did was work on Geography. We are planning a Quest for tomorrow, I know this is a bit of a surprise, but we spend a lot of time reviewing, and I feel most are ready to go tomorrow. I will give hem a few minutes to get organized, and jot down some important things on a "smart card" which they can use during the quest. Hope to see you parents tonight at the meeting.

MONDAY SEPT. 10

Today in Bible we reviewed a history of God's people as they traveled from the individual, Jacob, to their entering the promised land. We did not have a written assignment. There still are a few kids who did not turn in last weeks memory passage. The next passage is Psalm 89: 1-2. I would love to have it due next Wednesday, but I will make it due Thursday.
In Geography we reviewed the factors that affect climate, and then I had the kids read pages 22-27, take notes as they read, and then take a quiz. They could use their note sheet, and if they did not finish, they have to complete it for Tuesday.
Paper Drive is this Friday. the following kids have signed up to work: (first shift) Heidi, Kelly W. Mackenzie, Kelly, Meredith, Emily, Jaden, Anna, Dani, //(second shift) Sara, Rachel, Tim,Nick, James, Alex, Spencer and Taylor.

Well, is less than a week before you have to start getting up early, eating a good breakfast, and dressing is something else besides bathing suits and flip-flops. See you Tuesday.
